Double Gold Award Winning Wines at Savor NW and Great Northwest Wine Magazine!
The Neher Family has been making noncommercial wine since 1967. The Patriarch of our family Dick Neher, a well-known local educator and longtime principal at Wa-Hi started making wine in his basement. Years passed with no wine being made until the family had the idea to make wine in Grandpa’s basement in 2014. We have made a vintage every year since and our first commercially produced wine is our 2019 Merlot. Our flagship red every year will be aptly named “Principal” in honor of Dick and the legacy he started all those years ago.
The winery reflects our family which helps with every step of production. We have moved production from grandpa’s basement to our building at Clay in Motion. With the help of two legendary Walla Walla Wine Makers advising us every step of the way, Gordy Venneri and Roger Cockerline, our mission is to make World Class Wines, honor our loved ones and spend time together.
